Looking for a hero?

I feel strange admitting this, but sometimes I re-read my own books. A couple of weeks ago, COS Productions made a book trailer for the Harlequin Showcase release of  The Sicilian’s Marriage Arrangement and watching it reminded me how much I adored Hope and her hero, Luciano.  Talk about a sexy Sicilian alpha!  Luciano has what it takes to play the leading man and then some. I stayed up late that night reading his and Hope’s book and thought how glad I was a whole new group of readers were going to get the chance to experience their story.  I love connecting at the heart with readers and I believe this book really does that.

So, if you’re looking for a hero, pick up the Harlequin Showcase with The Sicilian’s Marriage Arrangement and Julia James’ book, The Greek’s Virgin Bride.

But Luciano’s sensual lovemaking makes her feel vibrantly alive. Hope falls in love with her husband and is blissfully happy—until she discovers that Luciano married her to fulfill his own ruthless agenda…!

The book also includes the fabulous “The Greek’s Virgin Bride” by Julia James.

Want to go to Africa?

Well, I would love to! After just setting a book in Zimbabwe (Close Quarters), my travel bug is on, but Africa is not in my near future, I’m sorry to say. However, we can all experience it through the eyes of an amazing photographer, Marti Corn, who has just left for her journey to Kenya.

She has volunteered to work with a local non-profit group offering micro-enterprises to women in both Kenya and the Middle East. Another female author is in the process of writing a book giving these women a voice, and Marti will be making environmental portraits for this project. She left on Friday for a two week journey through Kenya and invited me to follow her blog, In Search Of.

Check it out and experience her adventure with her!

Children of the Moon Book Release

I’m so excited about the release of this book.  After hundreds of reader emails and lots of prodding from the characters, I finally got the book written despite life going to heck in handbasket around me. Just goes to show that the silver lining is sometimes a true book of the heart. 🙂

Children of the Moon Book 2

If it were up to him, Talorc—laird of the Sinclair clan and leader of his werewolf pack— would never marry. But when the king orders that Talorc wed an Englishwoman, the lone wolf is shocked to find his mate in the strong-willed Abigail. And after an intensely climactic wedding night, the two fiercely independent souls sense an unbreakable bond…

Deaf since childhood, Abigail hopes to keep her affliction from Talorc as long as possible. And for his part, he has no intention of telling her about being a werewolf. But when Abigail learns that the husband she’s begun to love has deceived her, it will take all of his warrior’s strength—and his wolf’s cunning—to win his wife back. And Talorc will have to face his biggest challenge yet: the vulnerability of a man in love…
